The goals of the Economic Development & Main Street Division are to preserve historic assets, create the elements of a higher quality of life, and increase commercial activity and tax base by attracting, expanding, and retaining jobs in Ferris. Ferris collects 1% sales tax that is dedicated to economic development efforts.  Available incentives are listed below.   The Strategic Plan, adopted by City Council in 2015, lists the development priorities.
